About Vishuddhi:

Vishuddhi is the first of the three higher chakras associated with a spiritual plane. Vishuddhi means “purity”. We need to purify our body and mind to experience the subtle energies of the upper chakras. This purification center supplies us with energy of higher discrimination, and is associated with inspiration, creativity, self-knowledge, and communication, whether it’s verbal, non-verbal or internal.

Vishuddhi’s vibration is described by 16 petals, blue color, and a seed mantra HAM. In the middle of the lotus within a downward-pointing triangle we can see a circle which represents the element of ether.

Vishuddhi is located behind the throat. The parts of the body that it affects are neck, cervical vertebrae, throat, vocal chords, thyroid, mouth, teeth, and ears. Connected to the organs of speech and sense of hearing, Vishuddhi allows us to perceive information and express ourselves. A person who has a healthy fifth chakra finds it easy to create a sense of balance between talking and listening, and is both a good listener and an excellent speaker with resonant voice and great ability to improvise, persuade and inspire.

Communicating our ideas to others, we can convey our creativity through speaking, writing, visual art, music, dance or other form of expression. The challenge to all of us in life is to learn to follow our dream despite any obstacles, to always speak our inner truth and fearlessly express who we are. As Vishuddhi gets purified and strengthened, the search of truth brings more resonance with inner self, and self-expression we put out into the world becomes more significant.

ヴィシュダについて：

ヴィシュダ『純粋』を意味し始めの三つのチャクラを同様、精神次元と連繋います。私達は身体とマインドを純粋にしなければ上部のチャクラの微細なエネルギーを感じ取る事が出来ません。なのでヴィシュダは私達のエネルギーの浄化を助けると同時に直感、創造力、自己知識、言語/非言語のコミュニケーションを司っています。ヴィシュダの振動は１６の青い花弁で表されていて、シード (種)マントラは『ハーム』です。蓮の中には下向きのトライアングルがあり、その中にエーテルを象徴した円が描かれています。

ヴィシュダは喉に位置していて首、頚椎、のど、声帯,　甲状腺、口、歯、耳などの部位に影響を与えます。

また、言語や聴力と関連している組織と関わっているのでヴィシュダは情報を受け取り自己表現能力を高めてくれます。第五チャクラのバランスが整っている人は話力と聴力にすぐれ、鮮明な声で即興、説得、影響する力を持っています。

他者とアイディアを共有することで、創造力を言葉、文章、視覚アート、音楽、ダンスなどを通して表現する事が出来ます。私達が常に立ち向かわなければならない課題とは、どんな壁にぶちあたっても夢に向かって、内なる真実をはなし、こわがらずに自分自身を表現することです。ヴィシュダが浄化され強化されるにつれて真実を求める旅が内なる自己と共鳴し、外世界にむけた自己表現が重要性を持ち始めます。
