About Anahata:

The heart center Anahata is situated in the middle of the chakra system, between the three lower chakras and the three higher ones. Here, the energy that is rising up from the earth is uniting with the energy that is coming down from the heavens. In other words, it’s a place where the material world meets the spiritual world, where we start moving from embodiment to enlightenment. These two united forces are graphically represented by two interlacing equilateral triangles, of which one is pointing down (female, material energy) and one is pointing up (male, spiritual energy). A six-pointed star that they form contains Anahata’s seed mantra Yam.

Anahata means “unstruck” or “unbeaten” which refers to the sound produced without striking (like a clap of one palm), an eternal sound from beyond this material world. This unborn and undying vibration, the pulse of the universe is manifested at the heart chakra.

In the human body Anahata is located in the middle of the chest, and influences thymus gland and immune system, heart, blood and circulatory system, lungs and respiratory system, breasts and shoulders. It also governs the skin and the sense of touch.

Anahata is associated with 12 petals, green color and the element of air. It is said that air carries our emotions, therefore determining what and how we feel. Self-love and love to others, compassion, devotion, patience, ability to forgive, feeling of completeness and wholeness, all depend on the energy of Anahata. It’s at this center we experience unconditional love, the state of becoming one with our beloved during which the self loses its importance and an open heart dominates over mind. On a higher level the same selfless love can be spread onto all beings.

アナハタについて：

ハートセンターであるアナハタはちょうどチャクラシステムの中心に位置しています。ここで、地から上昇してきたエネルギーと宇宙からおりてきたエネルギーが統合されています。それは物質世界と精神世界が交わり、私達の意識が具現的な物から悟りに移っていくことでもあります。この二つの力は組合わさった二つの正三角形で描かれています．下向きの正三角形は女性性である物質的な力を意味し、上向きの正三角形は男性性である精神的な力を意味しています。そしてこの統合された六角星はアナハタシードであるマントラ『や―ム（Yam)）の聖音を司っています。

アナハタは『不動』、『打たれない』という意味をもっており、これは空振りをした時の音に似ていてこの物質世界を超越した永遠の音と連繋されています。この生前であり不滅の振動力の宇宙の鼓動がハートチャクラに反映されています。人間の身体では、アナハタは胸部の中心に位置し、胸腺、免疫系、心臓、血液、循環系、肺、呼吸器系、胸部、肩部に影響を与えます。また、皮膚や感触も司っています。

アナハタと連繋されるものは12枚の花びら、緑色、そして空気の要素です。それは空気が私達の感情を運んでくれると言われているので私達が何をどう感じているかを定めます。自己愛、他人に対する愛情、思いやり、忠誠、忍耐、許す心、全なるものといったいであるという確信などはすべてアナハタのエネルギーによって左右されています。このチャクラで私達は無償の愛を感じたり愛する人の為に貢献する喜びを感じてハートがマインドを支配する経験ができるのです。また、同じレベルで自分以外の存在に貢献する喜びを感じ、その愛を全ての存在にふりまく事ができます。
